Vertical hoist is a device used for vertical transportation of materials, which can lift materials from low to high. The vertical hoist is mainly composed of the hoist barrel, driving device, guide rail, hopper, etc. The workflow is as follows:
Preparation work: Firstly, it is necessary to connect the feeding port of the elevator barrel to the feeding device and ensure that there is no material inside the barrel.
Start running: Start the power supply of the vertical hoist, and the driving device begins to operate. The driving device can be an electric motor or a hydraulic drive system. The driving device transmits power to the hoist drum through transmission devices such as belts, chains, etc.
Feed: Pour the material to be lifted into the hopper at the feed inlet of the elevator barrel. The material slides from the hopper into the elevator barrel.
Lifting process: The rotational force of the driving device causes the lifting barrel to start rotating. During the rotation, the material is lifted to a higher position. During the lifting process, the guide rail plays a role in supporting the material and ensuring its safe lifting.
Unloading: When the material reaches the desired position, stop the rotation of the driving device. At the same time as stopping the rotation, the hopper will automatically open and the material will fall from the hopper. During the falling process, the material can be rectified through the guide rail to ensure its orderly arrangement.
Loop operation: After completing one lift discharge, the vertical hoist can continue with the next lift task. If there are continuous materials that need to be raised, repeat the above steps.
It is worth noting that the workflow of a vertical hoist may vary depending on different designs and uses. Some vertical hoists may be equipped with automatic control devices, which can lift according to the needs of materials, improving work efficiency and accuracy. At the same time, some vertical hoists may also have safety protection devices, such as devices to prevent material spillage or blockage, to ensure smooth and safe operation.
In general, the workflow of a vertical hoist starts with preparation work, where materials are fed into the hoist drum, lifted to the desired position by the driving device, unloaded, and the next lifting task is repeated. Through this workflow, vertical elevators can complete vertical transportation tasks and are widely used in industrial and mining enterprises as well as material handling businesses.
